Is Level 2 armour always better than Level 1?
It transmits less force in the standard test, but it is thicker and stiffer. Level 2 that shifts off the joint because of poor fit is worse than well-positioned Level 1.
Are airbag vests worth it?
They target chest, back and neck loading, which armour alone does not cover. Check the certification, the coverage area and whether it is reusable after deployment.
What protects the bike rather than the rider?
