How to replace tires
1. Remove the wheels
Support the bike on stands, remove the calipers where needed and drop both wheels out.
2. Break the beads
Deflate, remove the valve core and break both beads before levering the old tire off with rim protectors in place.
3. Fit the new tire
Match the rotation arrow, lubricate the beads and lever the tire on without pinching, then seat the beads to the pressure on the sidewall.
4. Balance the wheel
Balance with stick-on weights until the wheel holds any position on the balancer.
5. Refit and torque
Refit wheels and calipers, torque the axles to spec and pump the brake lever until firm.
6. Scrub in
Ride gently for the first 150 km to scrub off the release agent before using the shoulders.
